My name is Charlie jasmine I am a student at RARE School of Fashion in Liverpool. Fashion has always been my passion and will always been. Here are a few of my past to present work from illustration to fashion to mood boards.
Masquerade

This shows different aspects of Paris for an expedition brief, using images of the Paris Opera House and Notre Dame and having inspiration from the 17-18th century ball gowns because i love the idea of a masquerade ball.
Photography

Vintage Versace was my chosen designer for my photography brief. These photo capture the 90s Gianni Versace fashion which remains current. Photoshop was used to finalise the Fashion campaign.
Starlight Express

The dress is based on a character from one of my favourite musicals, Starlight Express, and incorporates futuristic fashion ideas.
Technique & Processes

The brief was to create a kimono using calico. I liked to show ideas from start to finish for the kimono, experimenting with ruffles, pintucks, plaits and pleats.
Observational Drawings

These observational drawings were created for different briefs using a variety of methods and inspirations such as Hayden Williams and Pinterest.
Fashion Manipulation

This shows how I experimented with different fabrics pinning them onto a mannequin to create designs, using methods such as pintucks. The style of the dress which incorporates wings, was inspired by the Greek Goddess, Resin.
Capsule Collection

This collection is based on the designer Delposo. I created looks using his past runway collections.
Surface pattern

The surface pattern is based on my family heritage, using family photos and also poppies to signify the nuclearbomb tests on Christmas Island. The influence of the 1930s, the French toile were used for my final surface pattern heritage wallpaper.
Fabric Manipulation

This shows an off the shoulder top which was created for a fabric manipulation brief. I used ruffles inspired by traditional Spanish dresses.
Artists for Photography

This board references four photographers to begin research for the contextual elements of my photographic brief.
